Read the following:
In your ninth blog entry of the semester, address each of the following bullets (1 or more paragraph each):
- What motivates people to volunteer (e.g., build houses, work in soup kitchens, clean up after disasters, teach children to read)?
- How are motivations driven open source software communities? How do you think they are similar to other volunteer activities and how do you think they differ? Explain.
- What motivates you to contribute to society? Explain.
- After reading the discussion in Wikipedia, what do you think about whether or not the Homesteading the Noosphere essay is deserving of its own article. What do you think?
