Blog Prompt 14
Read/watch the following:
In your fourteenth blog entry of the semester, address each of the following bullets (1 or more paragraph each):
- Which of the leadership characteristics discussed in the first article do you see in Torvalds and/or Stallman? Which of the motivations do you see in Torvalds and/or Stallman? Which of these characteristics and do you share? Explain.
- Describe the similarities and differences between the approaches of both Torvalds and Stallman in their projects. Determine if you find that their dispositions towards the OSS community made a difference in their success.
- Choose a leadership characteristic from either Torvalds or Stallman that resonates with you and that you aspire to. Explain why it resonates with you and discuss whether you believe this particular trait helped them in making open source contributions.
Remember in order to receive credit for each blog entry, you must do both of the following:
- Post your entry to your blog.
